=special Hot Meal/Cold Read PrimaDonna Productions (website) Audition Dates: Sunday, NOVEMBER 16th (3rd Sunday of this month) --- 6:00pm - 9:30pm – please arrive by 6:00, so we can begin promptly! Guess what? "Hot Meal/Cold Read" is coming up again and we are so excited to be able to continue this fun and innovative program…THIS IS THE LAST PROGRAM FOR THIS YEAR!! SO if you wanna be a part of it; read on and secure your spot today…spaces go fast! The program for NOVEMBER will focus on THEATRE with one of SA's favorite playwrights, directors, and teachers, Antoinette F. Winstead. What To Bring: At least 2 headshots and résumés (if you have them) one for our guest and one for us to keep on file and to consider you for future projects; pen and paper to take notes; and biz cards (if you have them) for networking purposes. If we already have your headshot/résumé on file and you have not updated your info in the past 60 days, then we don't need another one. What To Wear: Even though this is for THEATRE, we will be videotaping and playing it back so that you can see how you did during class. So with that being said, please do come camera-ready with regards to your image i.e. hair/make-up – no hair in faces, pulled back and appropriate make-up. Please dress comfortably and again, camera-ready attire – no logos, loud prints, or white. Solids are okay – the overall recommended dress 'code' is business casual. Dressing the part is always helpful for the decision makers and will also be better for you for the critique portion, but again this is not a requirement, but rather a recommendation. Please note: The "Hot Meal/Cold Read" program is not a career school. The "Hot Meal/Cold Read" program is designed to give participants an opportunity to learn first hand from noted industry professionals - in relation to specific genres – auditioning tips and techniques, as well as to provide direct feedback on the performances taped during the program, thus improving one's overall auditioning skills and booking ratios. The opinions of the guest speakers expressed during the "Hot Meal/Cold Read" program do not necessarily state or reflect those of PrimaDonna Productions. TO ENSURE YOUR PARTICIPATION WE MUST RECEIVE A PAYMENT OF $30 NO LATER THAN 5 PM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH. Please remember that because there are a limited number of slots available per month, cancellations/no shows will still be charged the full amount. |
